How to be happy in 5 easy steps. Be Grateful. Write a thank you letter, weekly. Sending it is optional Be Optimistic. It's just as easy as being pessimistic. Try it for a week. Count your blessings. They multiply when you start looking for them. Use your strengths. What could be more beautiful? What comes naturally to us. Commit acts of kindness.
